Hibiscus Mat, 10"x10" Primitive Rug Hooking Kit, K149 Floral Trivet, Floral Mat, Wool Hibiscus Mat, Hooked Flower Wall Hanging
This listing is for the rug hooking kit to hook my 10" x 10" Hisbuscus Mat. The design is drawn on a 19" x 20" backing fabric and will fit on most lap frames or in a 14" hoop. The edges of the backing fabric have been serged to prevent raveling.
It will hook up quickly for an experienced hooker and is wonderful for beginners.
It is one of four floral designs, Poppy, Hibiscus, Tulip and Daffodil. Wonderful as a companion to the Hibiscus chair pad (see 4th and 5th photos).

You have several choices to make as you purchase this item. Choose a backing fabric of either cotton monks cloth or primitive linen and also choose if you want the wool in your kit to come uncut, or, cut in #8 (1/4" wide) strips.
Each kit includes:
1. The pattern on cotton monks cloth or primitive linen, select your choice.
2. 100% wool fabrics that are hand-dyed or mill-dyed. Cut or uncut, your choice.
3. Instructions of where to use the colors in the wool pack and a color photo. It does not include instructions on how to hook.
The kits are based on the colors and amounts, of wool I used when hooking these rugs in a #8 cut. Great efforts are made to match the original wools, and to include enough wool to complete the project. The wool selections may differ slightly from the original version, but it will look very similar to the rug in the photo. If you hook tighter, higher or in a different cut than specified, you are welcome to purchase additional wool if needed. Convo me if you need additional wool and I will give you a quote. Due to inconsistencies in photography and electronic media, colors may vary from what you see here.
The kit DOES NOT include a hook or finishing tape or yarn.
