This listing is for the rug hooking pattern "Spirit Dog" on your choice of Monks Cloth or Primitive Linen.
The design is 32'" x 36" and is hand drawn with 4" inch borders. The edges of the backing fabric have been serged to prevent raveling.
I adapted this wonderful pattern from an antique rug that "spoke to me"! I call this rug Spirit Dog because I think it looks a little bit like a wonderful old dog from the past wandering through our busy lives. Rex was the name of a dog that belonged to my grandpa when I was a little girl. The date really has nothing to do with him, but is special to me because it is the year my mother was born. Our rugs really can keep our memories.
If you wish to have a different name and date in your pattern, let me know what you want in a convo or note from buyer. Also, you can leave it blank with no name and date. You choose.
There will be a photo of the rug, which was hooked with a #8.5 cut, included with the pattern.
