Hartman Hook -Ergo Handle - 8mm

The ERGO 8mm Hartman hook. This hook makes hooking an 8 and even larger go very smoothly. About 5 1/4" long.

These hooks are individually hand crafted in Ireland of solid brass with smooth "Yew" wood handles. Each handle is distinctive and beautiful. This is a very comfortable hook with a smooth place on the side for your thumb.This is the ideal hook for primitive or wide cut hooking. The large diameter of the shaft opens up the backing cloth to make pulling up loops easier. Some rug hookers also use the shaft to measure or check the height of their loops.

You can hold this hook in your palm or use it like a pencil. Some hookers like to change the way they use their hook to prevent too much stress on the hand and wrist. This is a very popular hook.
