This listing is for the rug hooking pattern "Scottie Mat" on your choice of Monks Cloth or Primitive Linen.
The pattern is hand drawn on a foundation fabric that is approximately 19"x20" and will fit on most lap frames or in a 14" hoop. The edges of the backing fabric have been zigzagged to prevent raveling.

This is a great beginner project, perfect for this time of year. It is very quick to hook up for the more advanced hooker and would be a great gift any time of the year.
There will be a photo of the rug included with the pattern. I hooked this mat with a #8 cut (1/4" wool strips).
This design was adapted by me from an antique pattern. I have always liked anything linked to Scotties. I do have my own real live Scottie! His name is Watson. This "Scottie Mat" would be a good companion to my "Watson" pattern which can be found at the link below.
