This listing is for the rug hooking pattern "Maggie" on your choice of Monks Cloth or Primitive Linen.
The design is 16" x 16" and is hand drawn with 4" inch borders. The edges of the backing fabric have been zigzagged to prevent raveling.

This design was adapted by me from part of an antique pattern. I like cats, especially primitive cats! My cat, Sherlock, is helping me display the pillow of Maggie in the second photo. I think he likes it!! It was my intention, with this pattern, to experiment with a background in the style of Magdalena Briner Eby. Her clumping or batching up of wools in her backgrounds looked fun, and it was! I have drawn in guide lines for the background I did but, feel free to experiment with your own ideas.
I did a prodded edge on my pillow using leftover materials from the background.
This pattern makes a great pillow, but can also be used as a small rug, mat, or wall hanging.
