This listing is for the Rug Hooking Kit to hook my design Moonshine Moose. This Kit has 100% wool fabrics that have been washed and/or hand-dyed and are ready to cut.

This rug is the fifth design in my North Shore Series.
This is my design and was inspired by a moose we saw standing in Lake Superior near Isle Royale on one of our trips to Grand Marais! Finding inspiration in the everyday items around us is fun and adds meaning to many pieces of art. This design would be great as a rug for a small area, a wall hanging, a pillow or a table or dresser mat.

I hooked this rug with a #8 cut (1/4" wool strips).

You have several choices to make as you purchase this item. Choose a backing fabric of either cotton monks cloth or primitive linen and also choose if you want the wool in your kit to come uncut, or, cut in #8 (1/4" wide) strips.

Each kit includes:
1. The pattern on cotton monks cloth or primitive linen, select your choice.
2. 100% wool fabrics that I have hand dyed and/or fulled. Cut or uncut, your choice.
3. A color photo.

The kits are based on the colors and amounts, of wool I used when hooking these rugs in a #8 cut. Great efforts are made to match the original wools, and to include enough wool to complete the project. If you hook tighter, higher, in a different cut than specified, or use the wool colors in different areas than I show in the photo, you are welcome to purchase additional wool if needed. Convo me if you need additional wool and I will give you a quote. Due to inconsistencies in photography and electronic media, colors may vary from what you see here.

The wool selections may differ slightly from the original version, but it will look very similar to the rug in the photo.

The rug hooking kit DOES NOT include a hook or finishing tape or yarn.
