Viola's Wildflowers, Rug Hooking Kit, 14"x40", Wildflower Hooked Rug, Primitive, Wildflower Garden, Wall Hanging, Table Runner, K161

This listing is for the Rug Hooking Kit to hook my design Viola's Wildflowers, a 14" x 40" pattern. This wool pack has 100% wool fabrics that have been washed and/or hand-dyed and are ready to cut.

I designed this rug because I love flowers and named it in memory of my grandmother-in-law, Viola, who had the most beautiful flower garden from which she allowed me to pick bouquets.  Thank you Grandma!
This rug is 14" x 40" and was designed to fit on a charming antique vanity that I inherited from Viola! (see third photo)

The design is hand drawn with borders that are approximately 4 inches wide. The edges of the backing fabric have been serged to prevent raveling.

There will be a photo of the rug included with the kit.
I hooked this rug with a #8 cut (1/4" wool strips). I did hand-cut some narrower strips when I needed them.


Each kit includes:
1. The pattern on primitive linen.
2. 100% wool fabrics that I have hand dyed and/or fulled.
3. Color photo of the rug

The kits are based on the colors and amounts, of wool I used when hooking these rugs in a #8 cut. Great efforts are made to match the original wools, and to include enough wool to complete the project. If you hook tighter, higher, in a different cut than specified, or use the wool colors in different areas than I show in the photo, you are welcome to purchase additional wool if needed. Convo me if you need additional wool and I will give you a quote if the wool is available. Due to inconsistencies in photography and electronic media, colors may vary from what you see here.

The wool selections may differ slightly from the original version, but it will look very similar to the rug in the photo.

The rug hooking kit DOES NOT include a hook or finishing tape or yarn.
