Grandpa's Granary, Rug Hooking Kit 10"x20", Hooked Wall Hanging, Table Mat, Pillow, Primitive Barn, Yoga or Neck Pillow K158

This listing is for the rug hooking kit for "Grandpa's Granary" a 10"x20" hooked rug on primitive linen.
The design is hand drawn with borders that are approximately 4 inches. The edges of the backing fabric have been serged to prevent raveling.

There will be a photo of the rug,ncluded with the kit.
I hooked this rug with a #8 cut (1/4" wool strips).

This rug was inspired by the granary on my Grandparent's farm in northwestern Minnesota. We spent many happy times on that farm and the warnings my grandmother gave to the grandchildren to keep us out of the granary are memorable!!

This is a great beginner pattern but would also be fun for a seasoned hooker, as it hooks up fast.
You have a choice to make when you buy this kit. Use the drop-down box for the wool in your kit to come uncut, or, cut in #8 (1/4" wide) strips.

Each kit includes:
1. The pattern on primitive linen.
2. 100% wool fabrics that I have hand dyed and/or fulled. Cut or uncut, your choice.
3. Instructions of where to use the colors in the wool pack and a color photo. It does not include instructions on how to hook.

The kits are based on the colors and amounts, of wool I used when hooking these rugs in a #8 cut. Great efforts are made to match the original wools, and to include enough wool to complete the project. If you hook tighter, higher, in a different cut than specified, or use the wool colors in different areas than I show in the photo, you are welcome to purchase additional wool if needed. Convo me if you need additional wool and I will give you a quote. Due to inconsistencies in photography and electronic media, colors may vary from what you see here.

The wool selections may differ slightly from the original version, but it will look very similar to the rug in the photo.

The rug hooking kit DOES NOT include a hook or finishing tape or yarn.
