Old Saltbox Barn, Rug Hooking Kit for 12"x12" Mat on Monks Cloth or Primitive Linen, Vintage Barn, Wall Hanging, Chair Pad, K156

This listing is for the Rug Hooking Kit to hook my design "Old Saltbox Barn", a 12"x12" mat. The pattern is hand drawn on a foundation fabric that is approximately 19"x20" and will fit on most lap frames or in a 14" hoop. This wool kit has 100% wool fabrics that have been felted and/or hand dyed and are ready to cut.

This design is one of two "Barn" 12" x 12" mats. The other is Old Barn #2, 12"x12"mat. (K157)They are wonderful as chair pads, table mats in a set, or alone on a dresser or end table.

You have several choices to make as you purchase this item. Choose a backing fabric of either cotton monks cloth or primitive linen and also choose if you want the wool in your kit to come uncut, or, cut in #8 (1/4" wide) strips.

Each kit includes:
1. The pattern on cotton monks cloth or primitive linen, select your choice.
2. 100% wool fabrics that I have hand dyed and/or fulled. Cut or uncut, your choice.
3. Instructions of where to use the colors in the wool pack and a color photo. It does not include instructions on how to hook.

The kits are based on the colors and amounts, of wool I used when hooking these rugs in a #8 cut. Great efforts are made to match the original wools, and to include enough wool to complete the project. If you hook tighter, higher, in a different cut than specified, or use the wool colors in different areas than I show in the photo, you are welcome to purchase additional wool if needed.
Due to inconsistencies in photography and electronic media, colors may vary from what you see here.

The wool selections may differ slightly from the original version, but it will look very similar to the rug in the photo.

The rug hooking kit DOES NOT include a hook or finishing tape or yarn.
