Christmas Shepherd, Rug Hooking Kit for 16" x 24" Primitive Santa Rug, Hooked Christmas Rug, Santa Wall Hanging, Pillow K166

This listing is for the rug hooking kit to hook my design "Christmas Shepherd" a 16" x 24" hooked rug. This kit has 100% wool fabrics that have been fulled and/or hand dyed and are ready to cut.

I designed this rug to be a symbol of what Christmas can mean, as in Charles Dickens' Christmas Carol; "a good time: a kind, forgiving, charitable, pleasant time:" So--- St. Nicholas, a sheep, a star in the East and a reminder for me when stress begins to sneak into my life!
The sheep is an actual prize sheep I found in an old photo of my mother and her brother!

This design hooked up quickly, you could get it done in time for the holidays! It would be a good holiday pattern for a beginner.

Each kit includes:
1. The pattern on cotton monks cloth or primitive linen, select your choice.
2. 100% wool fabrics that I have hand dyed and/or fulled. Cut or uncut, your choice.
3. Instructions of where to use the colors in the wool pack and a color photo. It does not include instructions on how to hook.

The kits are based on the colors and amounts, of wool I used when hooking these rugs in a #8 cut. Great efforts are made to match the original wools, and to include enough wool to complete the project. If you hook tighter, higher, in a different cut than specified, or use the wool colors in different areas than I show in the photo, you are welcome to purchase additional wool if needed. Convo me if you need additional wool and I will give you a quote. Due to inconsistencies in photography and electronic media, colors may vary from what you see here.

The wool selections may differ slightly from the original version, but it will look very similar to the rug in the photo.

The Kit DOES NOT include the pattern, a hook, or finishing tape or yarn.
