Inky Tweed, a Black, 100%, Mill-Dyed Wool for Rug Hooking, Applique, Penny Rugs, Fiber Arts, Quilting , Wool, Fat Quarter Yard W418

This listing is for one fat quarter yard of 100% wool fabric. This is an updated version of Slate Black Tweed. A black with just enough texture from the tweed to keep it from looking flat.
It has been washed and dried with fluffy towels in the dryer. The size is approximately 16" x 28". This wool fabric is a bit more tightly woven than some of my other wool selections, and it weighs slightly more, about 16 oz per yard as opposed to 12 to 13 oz per yard like many of my other listings.

A wonderful addition to your wool stash. Great for adding dark to your primitive dark backgrounds in your rugs or applique! It blends beautifully with other dark and black wools for animals, trees, silhouettes, etc. Use it for outlining, add to backgrounds or borders. It is ready for you to use in rug hooking, applique, penny rugs, quilts, sewing projects and craft projects.
